The MVP is intentionally narrow. These answers focus on how the shared-room scorer behaves right now, not on future account or social features.

Do I need to sign in?

No. The app uses background anonymous Firebase sessions so players can start quickly on mobile.

Can more than four players join?

No. Rooms cap at four seated players and the app blocks overfill.

What happens if a player returns on the same device?

The room flow is designed to let an existing anonymous participant re-enter instead of consuming a new seat.

Does the MVP cover every scoring edge case?

No. It guides common HK Mahjong scoring paths and provides a manual adjustment fallback for exceptions.
